At the Arizona Science Center the experience is hands-on. You can buckle up and race to the top of a pulley chair. Try your hand at plumbing. Walk through an enormous working stomach. Discover the science behind nature. Explore the world of digital communication. Get a grip on science on a rock wall. Experience the thrill of a high flying physics lesson. And that's just the beginning. This Phoenix museum boasts more than 300 interactive exhibits, daily demonstrations, state-of-the-art Planetarium and 3-D IMAX® theater.
Getting There
 
AZ Science Center is located at 600 E. Washington Street in downtown Phoenix and is situated in the Heritage and Science Park in Cooper Square.
Hours & Times
 
The museum is open daily 10:00-17:00. Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas. Family programs, kids camps and preschool science classes are organized at various times throughout the year.
Admission & Fees
 
Admission charged. A reduced rate is available for children and seniors. Kids under 3 years of age are free of charge. Entrance to the IMAX® theater and Planetarium are charged separately.
