Jardín Botánico, Buenos Aires

Rating:

The Jardín Botánico, conceived by the French architect and landscaper Carlos Thays in 1898, is as much a historical monument as it is a garden. Follow winding paths and discover bits of Asia, Africa, Oceania, Europe and the Americas not to mention over 7,000 varieties of local and exotic flora. The gardens are an oasis for families in search of a reprieve from city touring.
