Buffalo Bill Historical Center

The Buffalo Bill Historical Center, over 200,000 square feet in size, is five museums in one. Tour the Whitney Gallery of Western Art and view works by Remington, Russell and Bierstadt. Visit the Plains Indian Museum and see a Nez Perce tipi as well as art and artifacts of the Crow and other Northern Plains peoples. Check out the gun collection at the Cody Firearms Museum and observe 400 years of change. Walk the halls of the Buffalo Bill Museum and chronicle the life of Colonel Cody and his Wild West Show. Discover the exhibits at the Draper Museum of Natural History and explore the diversity of the Greater Yellowstone region. The Buffalo Bill Historical Center may not be the American Museum of Natural History nor the Louvre but it boasts a Western collection few museums can claim.
