Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge is a heart-pounding North Coast attraction. This rope suspension bridge, first erected by fishermen in the mid-1600s, spans a chasm 20 meters wide and 30 meters deep. It links rocky Carrick-a-Rede to the mainland. It's the only way to access the island. Hike the coastal footpath to the swinging bridge. Cross the chasm, there and back. Watch birds on Carrick-a-Rede. Enjoy views of Rathlin and the Scottish isles.
