Crocodile Center, St. Lucia Park
The Crocodile Centre, a research cum wildlife center, is a must see for families interested in learning more about Lake St. Lucia and the oldest living reptile, the crocodile. Explore the exhibits. View hatchlings and crocodiles up to 4 meters long. Plan your visit to coincide with a crocodile feeding. And find out more about the African Nile, long-snorted and dwarf crocodiles. Don't forget to tour the snake park and observe the bird life present along the trail.

Getting there
The Crocodile Centre is located 2km north of the village of St. Lucia on the road to Cape Vidal.
Opening hours
Open daily excluding Christmas and New Years Day. A snake demonstration is given every Saturday afternoon at 14:00. Crocodile feeding takes place on Saturday afternoons at 15:00, weather permitting, throughout the year. In summer, a second demonstration is held on Wednesday evenings at 18:30.
