Deer Valley Rock Art Center, Phoenix
A trip to Deer Valley Rock Art Center, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, offers families insight to the early cultures of Arizona and the American Southwest. Tour the museum. Getting There
The museum is located at 3711 W. Deer Valley Road, approximately two miles north of Highway 101 and two miles west of I-17. At the intersection of Deer Valley Road and 35th Avenue, continue west on Deer Valley about 1/8 of a mile. Bear right at the fork in the road and drive on about one mile to the museum parking lot.
Hours & Times
Deer Valley Rock Art Center is open Tuesday through Friday and 8:00-14:00, Saturday 9:00-17:00 and Sunday 12:00-17:00 May through September and Tuesday through Saturday 9:00-17:00 and Sunday 12:00-17:00 from October through April. The museum is closed on Monday throughout the year. Guided tours are offered at 10:00 on select Saturdays from October to April.
Admission & Fees
Admission charged. Reduced rated for children aged 6 - 12. Children 5 and under are free of charge.
