Getting There
 
Shepherd of the Hills Fish Hatchery is located at 483 Hatchery Road just off Highway 165. The hatchery is situated 6 miles (10 km) southwest of Branson, Missouri below Table Rock Dam.
Hours & Times
 
The fish hatchery is open daily 9:00 - 18:00 Memorial Day (late May) through Labor Day (early September) and 9:00 - 17:00 from Labor Day (early September) through Memorial Day (late May). Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. Guided tours are offered weekdays from Memorial Day (late May) through Labor Day (early September). Special events are scheduled from time to time.
Things to Keep in Mind
 
Admission is free of charge. Bring quarters for fish food. While there is no fishing at the hatchery angling is possible on Lake Taneycomo. A Missouri fishing permit is required for all anglers.
