Geoparque Bryn Gwyn, Gaiman
A trip to Geoparque Bryn Gwyn combines paleontology, geology and botany. Take a guided tour and learn about the geology of the white bluffs. Hike the self-guided Botanical Trail and find out about native flora. Follow the Paleontology Trail, also self-guided, and view fossils of sharks, whales, and dolphins. There's lots to discover at this open-air museum.

Geoparque Bryn Gwyn is located 8 km (5 miles) from Gaiman and 27 km (17 miles) from Trelew.

Hours & Times
The museum is daily 9:00-16:00 from March to September; 10:00-18:00 from October to February weather permitting. Closed Jan. 1 and Dec. 25.

Admission is charged. A reduced rate is available for children under 18 years of age as well as senior citizens and Chubut residents.

Things to Keep in Mind
There is no shade at Geoparque Bryn Gwyn. Wear hats and sunscreen. Carry plenty of water.
