The Grand Canyon Skywalk is set to transform Grand Canyon West from a sleepy backwater to an attraction on the rim. The glass-bottom Skywalk, a horseshoe-shaped cantilever bridge extending 70 feet beyond the rim of the canyon and suspended 4,000 feet above the canyon floor, rewards intrepid travelers with awe-inspiring views of the Grand Canyon and a sense of walking on air. That said, its overpriced and difficult to reach. What's more, the experience often falls short.
