The National Museum of Fine Arts, Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes in Spanish, is the most important art museum in Argentina. MNBA boasts works by European and Argentine artists such as Rodin, Monet, El Greco, Goya, Morel, Pueyrredón, de la Cárcova, Guttero and Seguí. Rent an audio guide, available in English and Spanish. Take a guided tour. Participate in one of the many children’s programs, Spanish only, organized throughout the year.

Getting There
 
Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes is located at Avenida Del Libertador 1473 in the barrio of Recoleta and situated near the Retiro train station. Colectivos (city buses) 10, 37, 38, 41, 60, 67, 92, 93, 102, 108, 110, 118, 124, 128 and 130 all stop near the museum. The D line Subte makes several stops on Av. Santa Fe, the nearest is Pueyrredon.

The museum is open Tuesday through Friday 12:30-19:30, Saturday, Sunday and holidays 9:30-19:30 in winter and Tuesday through Friday 12:30-20:30, Saturday, Sunday and holidays 9:30-20:30 in summer. Children's programs are offered at 16:00 on most Saturdays.
