The Ncome Museum, part of the Ncome - Blood River Heritage Site, is a horn-shaped museum cum cultural center. Like the neighboring Blood River Museum and Monument, Ncome Museum tells the story of the Battle of Blood River. But it does so from a wholly different standpoint. The displays portray events from the amaZulu perspective and depict the cultural heritage of the Sotho and Zulu. Visit the Blood River Monument and Museum to get the Voortrekkers take on history.
The Ncome Heritage Site is located 48km from Dundee and 72 km from Vryheid and is accessible from the R33. Follow the signs for Blood River and Ncome. Of note, the access road is unpaved.
