The New Market, referred to as the vegetable market on some maps, is one of two outdoor markets in Malindi. This busy place is chock-a-block with stalls selling food, clothes and household goods. Why take the kids? Not only does the New Market have the best selection of khanga and kikoi, the brightly colored fabric worn by women and men, it is an interesting place to sniff around and a great place to take photographs.
