North Lakeland Discovery Center, Manitowish Waters

Rating:

The North Lakeland Discovery Center is a great place to get close to nature. Spot songbirds, raptors and waterfowl. Hike and mountain bike. Cross-country ski and snowshoe, only in winter of course. Take part in a community-based environmental learning program or one of the Center's seasonal events and learn about the great outdoors while having fun. And if the kids are keen on developing a new skill sign them up for a full or half-day youth program and relax while they make friends and commune.
