• The Osprey builds its nest at the top of dead trees and uses it year after year.
• Ospreys feed on fish, which they catch with long, hooked claws called talons.
• Some ospreys, but not all, migrate in the spring and fall.
• The Osprey uses 5 different calls to communicate.
• Ospreys mate for life and travel up to 14 km (8.7 miles) to find food for their young.
