Palermo Viejo is the trendiest neighborhood in Buenos Aires. This once working class corner, with its tree-lined streets, converted warehouses and low-rise buildings, is the place to head for hip restaurants, fashionable clubs and cutting-edge boutiques. A crafts fair is held in Plaza Serrano on weekends.
Getting There

Palermo Viejo is oldest neighborhood in the barrio of Palermo. The neighborhood includes Palermo Soho and Palermo Hollywood and extends from Avenida Santa Fe south to Cordoba and from Avenida Dorrego east to Coronel Diaz. The nearest subte stations are Scalabrini Ortiz and Plaza Italia both on the D line. Numerous city buses, called colectivos, stop in Palermo Viejo.
