The Prince’s Palace of Monaco with its State Apartments and Museum of Napoleon Souvenirs offers insight to the history of Monaco and the House of Grimaldi. But the real attraction for families is the daily happening on the Palace Square or Place du Palais. Tikes and tweens alike will delight in the Changing of the Guards ceremony performed each day at 11:55 sharp.
 
Getting There
 
The Prince's Palace is situated directly across from the Port de Fontvieille in Monaco - Monte Carlo. The Palace Square is a 5-minute walk from Place de la Visitation, the last stop on the number 2 bus direction Terminus Monaco-Ville.

Hours & Times
 
The changing of the guards takes place daily at 11:55 in the Palace Square. The State Apartments are open daily 9:30 - 18:30 from June through September and 10:00 - 17:00 in October. The State Apartments are closed to the public during the remainder of the year. The Museum of Napoleon Souvenirs is open daily 9:30 - 18:30 June through September, 10:00 - 17:00 from October 1 to November 11 and 10:30 - 12:30 and 14:00 - 17:00 (except on Monday) from December 17 to May 31. The Museum of Napoleon Souvenirs is closed from November 12 to December 16 and on December 25 and January 1.

Admission is charged to the State Apartments and Museum of Napoleon Souvenirs. A combined ticket is available.
