Punta Tombo Penguin Rookery, Trelew

Punta Tombo Natural Protected Area is home to the world’s largest colony of Magellanic penguins. Roughly 300,000 of these feathered friends birth, breed and molt at this penguin rookery. Spot Magellanic Penguins in underground burrows and brooding on nests. Observe these tuxedo-clad birds as they forage for food and feed their chicks. Listen to Magellanic penguins call out to their mates. Watch these warm-weather penguins go about their daily life. Punta Tombo is nothing short of a penguin city!
