Shakaland Cultural Village, Eshowe
The Shakaland Cultural Village, a cultural center cum resort developed out of the movie set for Shaka Zulu and John Ross, provides families with insight to Zulu culture as well as the Zulu way of life. Despite the Hollywood feel of this Zulu Umuzi or homestead the kids will return home with a greater understanding of the Zulu nation. A portion of the cultural tour, such as Zulu dancing and spear throwing, is open to overnight guests only.
