Che Shale is remote, rustic and intimate from 4pm to 11am. The dynamics of this thatched roof Robinson Crusoe-style resort change dramatically with the arrival of the lunch crowd. Thankfully you need not stroll down the beach very far to find privacy. Child-friendly but short on kids; our daughter was the only guest below the age of 25. Which for our 4-day stay turned out to be ok. Apart from the somewhat clubby atmosphere, the only negative was quibble over the bill. They tried to charge us a 5% credit card fee.
