Branson may be located in the sticks of Missouri but this town of 6,000 is hardly boring. Branson boasts more than 50 theatres featuring live music and comedy shows. It is home to a theme park, water park and numerous other fun family places. Branson is a paradise for outdoor recreation. It's three picturesque lakes - Table Rock, Taneycomo and Bull Shoals - and 200 miles of multi-use trails make Branson an ideal destination for families that enjoy hiking, biking, fishing, and water sports - swimming, boating, kayaking and canoeing. But what makes Branson special is it scenic location. This small town in southern Missouri is tucked away in the Ozark Mountains.
