Located on the far Southwestern tip of Africa about 1600m from Johannesburg, Cape Town is South Africa's most beautiful, most romantic and most visited city. Cape Town owes its distinctiveness to its early settlers, the Portuguese, Dutch and British.

Known as the Big 6, the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens, considered one of the top botanical gardens in the world with over 5000 indigenous plant species, the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront which boasts a unique shopping environment and is situated in a working harbor, the Oceans Aquarium, Cape Peninsula National Park, Constania Vineyards, Table Mountain with its breathtaking views and massive sandstone plateau where you can hike, climb or have an unforgettable ride in a cable car ride and Robben Island which houses the old prison for political prisoners convicted during the apartheid era.

Other activities are as numerous as they are varied. Enjoy diving in Kalk Bay, whale watching, best on the False Bay side of the peninsula, roller coaters at Ratanga Junction, search for favorite gemstones at The Scratch Patch, or visit any one of the craft markets, such as the Pan African Market or The Red Shed, or Museums.
