Four Corners

Four Corners Monument, Utah

Four Corners Monument is a proverbial tourist trap. You pay a lot to see little. Having said that, there are few other stops for miles and miles around. And while placing a hand and foot in four states – Colorado, Utah, New Mexico and Arizona - at the same time might sound dreary to an adult it is likely to sound cool to the kids, especially those in a need of a break from the car. Four Corners is the only point in the U.S. where four states come together, much less form right angles, after all.
