Gaiman, Argentina
Family travel to Gaiman is a journey through Argentina's past. Nestled in the Chubut River Valley, Gaiman was founded by Welsh settlers in the 19th century. And their influence is evident in more than just architecture. Road signs are in Celtic. Schools are bilingual. And, yes, they serve tea! Yet families traveling to this part of Patagonia will find more than Welsh culture. The geological formations found in Geoparque Bryn Gwyn, located just outside of Gaiman, date back over 40 million years.
