Puerto Madero, Buenos Aires
This red brick neighborhood of docks, warehouses and converted canals is home to parks and restaurants as well as two of the city’s most fashionable hotels, Buenos Aires Hilton and Faena Hotel & Universe. And it tells of a different Buenos Aires. Tour the floating museums, Fragata Sarmiento and Uruguay Corvette. Visit Museo Hotel de Inmigrantes, the Ellis Island of Argentina. Getting There
Puerto Madero is located in central BA and situated on the river. The Fragata Sarmiento is docked at pier 3; Uruguay Corvette at pier 4. Museo Hotel de Inmigrantes is located at Avenida Antártida Argentina 1355. Puente de la Mujer is located at pier 3. Colectivos 2, 4, 6, 20, 22, 26, 33, 54, 56, 61, 62, 64, 74, 93, 99, 105, 109, 111, 126, 129, 130, 140, 143, 146, 152 and 159 all stop in Puerto Madero. Take the B line Subte to Leandro N. Alem or A line to Plaza de Mayo.

When to Travel
While the weather in Buenos Aires is enjoyable year round the best time of year to visit is fall (March - May) and spring (September - November). Winter (June - August) is characterized by cool days and cold nights. Summer (December - February) days are often hot and humid. Rain is most common in February, March and October.

The Fragata Sarmiento is open Sunday through Friday 9:00-22:00, Saturday
9:00-23:00. The Uruguay Corvette is open daily 10:00-21:00. The Museo Hotel de Inmigrantes is open Monday to Friday 10:00-16:00, Saturdays and Sundays 10:00-17:00. Admission & Fees
Admission is charged to tour the Fragata Sarmiento and Uruguay Corvette. Children under 5 years of age are free. Admission to the Museo Hotel de Inmigrantes is free to all visitors.
