Seil Island, Scotland
A beautiful place to spend a day
We visited Seil Island as part of a week long tour of Argyll. We stayed at the nearby Knipoch Hotel and took Seafari Adventures' Corryvreckan Wildlife Tour. We enjoyed all three. Seil Island is tranquil an charming. The Corryvreckan Wildlife Tour combines the excitement of whirlpools, thrill of a fast boat ride and adventure of spotting sea birds and animals. (We didn't spot dolphins on our trip but did see a colony of gray seals and a great variety of birds.) The Knipoch is a bit pricey but is a pleasant place to stay. Of note, Seil Island doesn't offer much in the way of shops. It's place to visit for nature.
