Amboseli Porini Camp, Selenkay Conservation Area
What Amboseli Porini Camp lacks in luxury it makes up for in character. This nine tent safari camp caters to just 18 guests at a time. The comfortable tents are simple but spacious. Meals are served in the shade of Acacias. The campfire is the focal point of after dinner socializing. There are no permanent structures at this eco-camp. All game drives are in open-side land rovers. Rates include an escorted walk with Masai warriors. Family Travel Tips: Children must be at least 8 years of age. The camp is closed mid-April to late May. All tents are en suite (flush toilet, safari shower and wash basin) and have solar powered electric lighting. The camp doesn't have a swimming pool.
