Benguerra Lodge bills itself as a luxury lodge. But don't book here expecting a five-star hotel, suppose a barefoot hideaway instead. Benguerra Lodge is located on a remote white sand beach. There are no shops, cafes or manmade attractions on the island. The lodge has just 13 rooms - cabanas, casitas and a private villa. All are located just steps from the ocean. Each has a private plunge pool and personal butler but none have air conditioning or a telephone. Family Travel Tips: Benguerra Lodge welcomes kids aged 8 and older. There is no kid's club or animation team. Water socks are recommended at all times and fundamental at low tide. Transfers, speedboat or helicopter, and activities are charged seperately.
