Cali Cochitta Bed & Breakfast is a refreshing alternative to plain Jane chains and main drag motels. Not only is it tucked away on a quiet street, the B&Bs relaxed style gives it the feel of a family home. What's more, this Victorian house built in the late 1800s is smartly decorated and the full breakfast is delicious. Family Travel Tips: Cali Cochitta B&B is located two blocks from Moab's main street. It has three large rooms, one suite and cottage. A traveler's crib is available upon request. Guests have use of the refrigerator, a plus for families traveling with ever-hungry kids. Breakfast is served at a set time; early breakfasts are brown bag. The B&B has a hot tub. Pets not allowed.

Cali Cochita may not have a swimming pool but it has a homey atmosphere and a hot tub. The only disappointment at this well-run, charming B&B was the rigid breakfast schedule. Families partaking in early morning activities such as the ranger-guided Fiery Furnace hike at Arches National Park or area rafting trips will need to depart before the full breakfast is served at 8:00 a.m. The boxed breakfast - banana, juice and a bagel - is a far cry from pancakes and poached eggs.
