The Cedar Pass Lodge, managed by Forever Resorts, is little more than a dump. The so-called historic cabins are neither rustic nor charming but rather basic and old. The food at the adjacent Cedar Pass Restaurant is just ok. So why have we included this accommodation? Two reasons. Cedar Pass Lodge and the equally bleak Badland's Inn are the only alternatives to camping at Badlands National Park. Sunset and sunrise are magical park moments. Don't book more than one night; the Badlands are a one-day trip.
