After two weeks on the road with a finicky tween and fastidious teen I didn't crave hip or charming, I was desperate for a washing machine. So when we checked into the Comfort Inn in Fruita I checked my notion of 3-star, chain hotels at the door. The (small) rooms were clean, the breakfast buffet offered variety, the indoor poll provided a diversion for the kids and most importantly it was just a block from the Dinosaur Journey Museum, the reason for our trip to Fruita.
