It's hard to knock the Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa. The luxurious, palm-thatched bungalows are set in a well-maintained garden. The service is excellent. The spa is superb. The food is good, albeit not fabulous. The resort has just 96 rooms and suites. The shallow lagoon is ideal for swimming and snorkeling. What's more, the Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa welcomes children. It boasts an excellent kids club and wide variety of activities for tots, tweens and teens. The one drawback? The house reef is a long swim from shore, roughly 500 m. Family Travel Tips: Kuda Huraa Island is part of the North Ari Atoll. The resort is accessible by speedboat, a 25-minute journey. Daybeds and cribs are available at no extra charge, as are items to childproof the room. The hotel has a babysitting service and children's menu.
