Kayenta Campground is located in Dead Horse State Park. The 21-site camp accommodates tents and RVs. Each campsite has a tent pad, picnic table, charcoal grill and electricity. There are no showers and no general store. The only hook-up is electric. Water is limited. Family Travel Tips: Kayenta Campground is open year around. Reservations are can be made up to 16 weeks in advance and are recommended from June through August. Leased pets are allowed. Park entrance and camping fees are charged seperately. The nearest services are in Moab, 25 miles distant.
