The North Rim Campground is the only developed campground on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. The 90-site campground accommodates RVs, tents, and trailers. Each campsite has a picnic table and fire ring with a cooking grill. The campground has flush toilets and coin operated showers and laundry. There are no hook-ups. The general store, located across from the entrance, sells a broad range of supplies including firewood. Family Travel Tips: Not all campsites are on the rim and not all are shaded. The best campsites are on the outer loop. The campground is open mid-May through late November weather permitting. The peak season is mid-May to mid-October. Reservations are required in the peak season. Campsites can be reserved up to 6 months in advance and must be made at least two days in advance. Leased pets are allowed in family sites only.
