Red Cliffs Lodge is set in a stunning location but it's not quite posh nor is it a dude ranch. The lodge sits on a scenic bend of the Colorado River and is located 14 miles upriver from the small town of Moab. Every room has a view of either Castle Creek or the Colorado. The suites and cabins are tastefully decorated, spacious and clean. The decor is motel-style Western. The lodge boasts a swimming pool, tennis court and spa and offers great range of activities, including horseback riding and guided mountain bike tours. Family Travel Tips: Each guestroom has a kitchenette. The nearest food stores are in Moab. The restaurant is good. Pets are allowed. The lodge is a bit pricey all things considered.
