Roosevelt Lodge Cabins affords a truly frontier experience. It's set in one of the loveliest corners of the park. The lodge is Western-style stone. The rocker fitted porch is a great place to relax. The rustic cabins are bare bones; roughrider cabins don't have a private bath. Family Travel Tips: Roosevelt Lodge Cabins is one of the cheapest accommodations in the Yellowstone. While expensive for what you get, it offers better value than all but camping. The cafeteria-style self-service restaurant is mediocre. The only heat in the cabins is a wood-burning stove. Roosevelt Lodge is open mid-June to early September.
