Shoshone Lodge & Guest Ranch, built in the 1920s with native logs, is rustic and quiet. It's located in the Shoshone National Forest and is ideal for accessing Yellowstone. The western-style log cabins, complete with porch rocking chairs, are nestled amongst the trees. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff is friendly and eager to please. Shoshone Lodge offers horseback riding and pack trips. Family Travel Tips: Shoshone Lodge is 3 miles from the East Entrance of Yellowstone and 46 miles from Cody, WY. Children must be at least 6 years of age to horseback ride. The lodge has a communal grill and fire pit. Each cabin has a microwave and refrigerator.
