Our short stay at Tamarind Village was the perfect way to end our trip to the Kenyan coast. We arrived at sunset and were treated to an amazing view; the Old Town of Mombasa sits on the opposite bank of Tudor Creek. We had a delectable meal at Tamarind Restaurant. (U.S. prices, ouch!) The creekside pool was a great place to laze for the final hours of our trip. The western-style rooms were the one disappointment. We weren't ready to be anywhere but Africa.
