One trip takes riders aged 12 and over to Yellowstone's remote Thorofare district, one of America's best backcountry wilderness areas. This 6-day trip covers roughly 80 miles (128 km) and rambles past Yellowstone Lake, over Two Ocean Plateau, up the Snake River Canyon and into the Red Mountains. Family Travel Tips: All riders should have some experience and feel comfortable around horses. The pack trips are active vacations; all riders help with camp chores and horse care.
