Seafari Adventures are part nature, part adrenaline. Spot seals, porpoises, dolphins and whales. Watch cormorants and eagles. Enjoy a high-speed boat ride. Experience the force of the tide. Learn about whirlpools. Excursions depart daily Easter through October. Winter excursions are offered during the winter break (Christmas and New Year) and half-term holiday (February). All excursions are weather permitting. Seafari Adventures has 3 locations, Isle of Skye, Seil Island (near Oban) and Forth (Edinburgh). Family travel tips: The minimum age is 4. Dress warm even in summer. Waterproof gear is provided. Advanced booking is essential.

A different kind of sightseeing tour

This was our favorite excursion by far. Whirlpools, fast boats rides, sea animals. Excitement, thrill and adventure. If your children are anything like mine, they'll be hard pressed to state a favorite. All three are cool. This is a fabulous way to explore the Firth. Of note, we booked the Corryvreckan Wildlife Tour. We traveled in April. It was cold on the water. We wore hats and gloves. The wet weather gear kept us dry, not from rain but from spray.
